Aged Care Service lists for download

Lists of Australian Government-funded aged care services in downloadable formats including Microsoft Excel and plain text files.

From this page you may download files of information on aged care services subsidised by the Australian Government under the Aged Care Act 1997, including:

  • residential aged care services (aged care homes);
  • services that provide Community Aged Care Packages;
  • services that provide Extended Aged Care at Home and Extended Aged Care at Home - Dementia packages;
  • Transition Care services;
  • Innovative Pool services;
  • Multipurpose Services providing aged care; and
  • services funded under the National Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Aged Care Strategy.

The files are current as at 30 June 2008 and are updated annually, usually in September/October.

Each downloadable file contains:
Note that some community care services are delivered in a differing region or state from that in which they are based and that some Multi-purpose services serve more than one location.

These spreadsheets generally list places according to the location in which the service is based, rather than the region in which the service is delivered. Consequently, regional totals derived from these spreadsheets may differ from data published elsewhere in which places operated by cross-regional services have been divided between the regions in which the services are delivered.
