Outer Metropolitan Specialist Trainee Program

The Outer Metropolitan Specialist Trainee Program gives specialist trainees (registrars) the opportunity to complement their public teaching hospital training with experience in a private specialist setting and allows them to undertake placements in private settings in their area of speciality.

The aim of the program is to increase the level of specialist services to outer metropolitan patients.

Training arrangements are negotiable and can be undertaken, for example, on a sessional basis such as one day at a time, or on a full time basis for 3-6 months, or longer.
